Advanced Staging Websites
GridPane staging allows you to test your WordPress plugin and theme updates on your staging website before updating your live website and test your code and other dev work before setting it live into production.
Our advanced staging features allow you to:
- Push all files, database, and settings from staging to live and vice versa
- Push all files but no database
- Push all files and only specific database tables
- Push only the database/specific database tables and no files
Snapshot Failover™
Snapshot Failover™ is a proprietary high-availability setup that allows you to clone all of the sites on one server over to another server and set a syncing schedule for as little as one hour.
Couple this with DNS failover (also included!), and you can ensure your websites stay up and running even if your provider has an outage that impacts an entire data center.
Snapshot Failover™ covers certain outages better than traditional failover setups and makes it simple to ensure a working clone of your most important websites is ready to go if your primary server ever experiences an outage.
WordPress Multitenancy
Multitenancy is the ideal solution for building a WordPress-based SaaS. Your websites will share a central immutable codebase on a per-server basis that’s managed via Git, but will each have their own PHP resources, database, and uploads folder like your regular WordPress websites, and can be scaled independently of one another.
You can easily create different Git repositories to offer different website packages, including functionality such as WooCommerce and Learning Management Systems (LMS), which is a notoriously bad idea on WordPress multisite.
- Multitenancy runs on an immutable code base that is managed via Git.
- All multitenancy network sites have their own database, system user, and PHP resources, which means they are isolated from one another and can be scaled individually.
- Multitenancy sites can run on their own individual servers.
- Far more secure than a traditional multisite installation due to the codebase immutability and server-level isolation.
- Multitenancy is ideal for offering e-commerce and other advanced, resource-intensive functionality vs multisite.

WordPress Vulnerability Scanning
Developer Plus includes vulnerability scanning for ALL of your websites.
If a known vulnerability is found in WordPress core, or a theme or plugin installed on your website, we will send you a notification, and the vulnerability details will be available to view in full inside your website customizer in the security tab.
Our vulnerability remediation feature plans have been buffed up significantly with the addition of our 360 support.
With 360, not only will you get proactive remediation of security vulnerabilities but you’ll have our team’s constant 24/7 monitoring of all of your most critical applications and servers.
All sites and servers enrolled in 360 get a thorough health check, a tenancy/resource assessment, and they’re connected to our team’s monitoring systems for resolution of issues while you sleep.

Yes, this annual pricing is locked in for as long as your subscription remains active. It will only cease to apply if you cancel your subscription or change your plan.
No. Your Developer account will continue to get new features and updates. Developer PLUS includes additional integrations with 3rd party services, additional sites in the Client Portal (PanelPress), and features that are only made possible through it’s direct funding. For example, Fortress for 50 sites and 360 for 50 sites have a significant, ongoing cost.
Developer will always get upgrades, bug fixes, refinement, and future developments of the “core” platform.
New features, things that we never dreamed of years ago, some of those things will live within PLUS, some will live within Agency, some may be whole separate companies/brands/products. But the core functionality that makes Agency possible, for example, is the stack and key features of Developer. And those things will never whither on the vine.
Your Developer LTD will always be yours. If you upgrade to PLUS for a year (or two or five) and then at some point decide it’s not for you, you will still have your Developer LTD.
There is nothing like this on the market currently. It will be absolutely game-changing and it will change the standards by which the entire WordPress ecosystem thinks about security. This is not an exaggeration. If you paid for some distant runner up to this service, like Wordfence, you would pay roughly $10/site per month. To be less secure, especially when combined with the automated scanning and remediation services of 360.
All sites approved for 360 support have a comprehensive health check of the entire server and all applications on it.
No sites on a 360-supported server can be excluded from 360 coverage. Meaning when you enroll a server into 360 every site on that box is covered by 360.
You can run 50 sites on 50 different servers, all of them will be covered by 360, and that would keep you within your 50-site limit without any additional expense.
However, if you have a staging or development site on a server covered by 360, those sites will also be counted towards your total, as they cannot be excluded from our monitoring and support.
Ideally, you would perform staging and development work on servers dedicated to that specific purpose and not mix staging environments with production environments.
